Co-authors Maria Zampini and Pam Bennett are making their way up and down the radio dial and across the internet waves via podcasts. Since the release of Garden-pedia, Maria and Pam have been invited to be guests on a variety of shows including: Bob Tamen in the Garden, The Organic Gardeners and Garden America.“I have always been a long time listener of garden radio shows and podcast; it’s one of the best ways to stay up-to-date on what is happening in the garden world while waking up with the dogs and cup of coffee or getting some work done around the office,” shares Maria. “To be invited to be on a radio show, now that is exciting. I am so proud of the book we wrote and to have Pam and myself invited to appear on shows to talk about our work is an honor and can I say, a lot of fun!”
Radio shows and podcasts are part of the chain of resources gardeners turn to to learn more about their passion. From garden blogs, website, magazines and let’s not forget, garden books; the availability of learning resources is diverse and is continuously expanding the reach and thus attraction of gardening.
“I have been on many radio shows, often to discuss a new plant or to talk about garden trends, but to be on a show to talk about our book, that is whole new experience and one I am enjoying on this remarkable garden journey,” Maria reflected.
