Celebrate the New Year Right
December 21st marked the Winter Solstice and the first day of winter.
Celebration® Maple can ring up sales in the new year with landscape designers, architects and consumers who are searching for the perfect shade tree to plant this spring. This maple is just at home in backyards as it is along city streets!
Acer x freemanii ‘Celzam’
This virtually seedless freemanii cultivar has a branching structure which is angled to withstand heavy snow loads and not break.
It is tolerant of urban and suburban conditions including heat, drought and salt spray. Fall color varies from gold, to orange to red depending on soil type and moisture.

Gardening
is Heart
Healthy!
Is your New Year resolution the same as mine? Lose a few pounds, eat healthier, exercise more regularly and reduce stress.
Keep in mind that gardening benefits both mental and physical well-being by providing exercise and lowers blood pressure, boosts immune function and reduces stress. Plus, gardening provides a bounty of fresh fruit and vegetables which are superior to their frozen or canned counterparts.
While February is synonymous with Valentine’s Day.
It is also known for two additional
‘Red Heart’ events:
