Can You Spot ‘Horti’ the Gardening Elf on the Shelf? This holiday season, UpShoot adopted a ‘gardening’ Elf on the Shelf and named him Horti (short for Horticulture). Horti and his UpShoot gardening adventures have been taking social media by storm!



Millions of Elf on the Shelf books have been sold since its debut in the mid 2000’s. Parents hide Santa’s scout elf for kids to find each day during the holiday season. So I’m asking what if, weather permitting, parents also hid them outside and it became a teachable gardening moment? In this case – bayberry is a selected native, berries were used by colonists for candles, berries are a super food for feeding the birds, etc…What do you think?

He wanted to be sure everyone was aware of our new

New Plant Introduction
catalog.  He took orders for hard copy samples or multiple copies for grower staff.
If you haven’t received a sample copy for some reason or you would like additional catalog copies to distribute at the upcoming trade shows, please email Maria by December 15 so we can mail them before the post office gets too crazy busy!
