Martha Says
UpShoot co-hort John Lewis of JLPN recently shipped trees to Bedford, New York to be planted by Martha Stewart at her farm.
Martha featured JLPN in several blog posts you can read here:

Martha also posted about the allee she planted utilizing Marleys Pink Styrax, anew pink weeping Japanese Snowbellintroduced by JLPN and represented by UpShoot. It is named for John’s daughter Marley and provides a bounty of fragrant blooms each spring.

#ThornyThursday
June is National Rose Month but I celebrate the beauty of roses each week across my social media sites with #ThornyThursday.
I’d like to introduce you to my rose co-hortsChris VanCleve andTeresa Byington, hosts of the Rose-ChatPodcast. Follow these leading rosarians to learn more about this timeless flowering beauty.
Another great source of rose information is The American Rose Society.
Roses are also edible. To learn how to harvest them for use in the kitchen I recommendEat Your Roses byDenise Schreiber and St. Lynn’s Press. It includes some simple and easy recipes for Rose Petal Ice Cream, Rose Petal Jam and Chocolate Pavloa with Strawberries and Rosewater – Yummo!
